Internal Medicine

Internal medicine is a discipline that focuses on the care of adults and involves trained physicians handling a broad range of medical conditions across a variety of organ systems.

What does a Physician do?

Doctors specializing in internal medicine are recognized as being experts in diagnostics, the treatment of chronic illnesses, health promotion, and disease prevention.

Aims of Internal Medicine

Internal medicine provides physicians with the perfect foundation to specialize in other areas of internal medicine. There are many different subspecialities that internists can choose to focus on after their core residency training. Some of the most popular subspecialties, which are certified exclusively by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine dealing with the health and medical care of infants, children, and adolescents from birth up to the age of 18.

What does a Pediatrician do?

A paediatrician is a child’s physician who provides not only medical care for children who are acutely or chronically ill but also preventive health services for healthy children. Also, a paediatrician manages physical, mental, and emotional well-being of the children under their care at every stage of development, in both sickness and health.

Aims of Pediatrics

The aims of the study of paediatrics is to reduce infant and child rate of deaths, control the spread of infectious disease, promote healthy lifestyles for a long disease-free life and help ease the problems of children and adolescents with chronic conditions.

“Dr. Raad Ausi restored my confidence in the medical environment in the US, coming from overseas (Italy) where medicine is not a business, I saw in him a kind, gentle and highly knowledgeable doctor that treats the problem at its core and not just place a band-aid and sends you away. I highly recommend this doctor along with his professional staff that truly made me feel important and like family.

“Finally, a doctor after your inner health. I truly enjoyed being treated by Dr. Ausi and his highly professional, loving staff. They made me feel welcome and gave me almost too much attention to make sure my health issues were ok. Dr. Ausi took the time even after hours to call me and make sure I am doing ok. Marvelous staff and a gem in the community.”

Ra A.

“Dr Ausi is amazing. He is very compassionate and extremely thorough. He made me feel like family. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good and honest physician. He’s great with kids too I also take my 5 year old son to him.”
